Slapstick

Lovable characters but so much slapstick that it made our 3 year old go into a whirlwind copying all the slapstick stuff. Bed time was no fun the night after watching this

Preschoolers will enjoy these sweet, holiday-themed tales, and parents will appreciate the gentle lessons. Winnie the Pooh stories, A Very Merry Pooh Year included, deliver on multiple fronts. They're sweet childhood tales about friendship, caring, loving others (quirks and all), and the importance of friendship over, well, just about anything else -- presents, winning an argument, honey. They also celebrate a respect for experience and wisdom and the importance of taking feelings and personalities into account.

Kids have a natural affection for these characters, whether it's Rabbit's worrying, the quiet, relatable concerns of Pooh, or the oversize personality of Tigger. And parents can (again) enjoy the understated, uplifting messages they offer about the quieter rewards of life, in a place where everything has a knack for turning out wonderfully.
