What’s It About?
THE BOAR KNIGHT follows Nathaniel the Boar Knight as he searches to solve the mystery of his missing memories. Along the way he encounters a whimsical assortment of characters, including a helpful hedgehog, moles who mine for memories, and mice known for their meticulous measurements. Many of the characters are eager to assist Nathaniel on his journey, and the show uses both comedy and original music to propel the story forward.
Is It Any Good?
While The Boar Knight is geared toward younger listeners, the fantasy adventure offers plenty of fun for all ages. Its offbeat sensibility keeps the story of Nathaniel the Boar Knight -- who communicates only in grunts and oinks that the other characters understand -- silly and surface level. The original music, endearing characters, and strong messages of friendship and being true to oneself make it an easy one to recommend to adults with small children. The Boar Knight features some thematic similarities to Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings but with a gentler, more family-friendly approach that smacks of The Princess Bride.

Some characters in The Boar Knight use memories to gain a sense of comfortability. What's the podcast trying to say about stories or nostalgia with this sentiment? Can you think of your favorite memories? How do they make you feel?
