Punchy humor and exaggerated comedy bring in viewers who might otherwise be turned off by what could seem like preachy content. Superbuns' cheeky scripts turn explicit lessons into the stories' high points, often showing unexpected positive results from altruistic actions (expected, most likely, if you're the co-viewer). Superbuns' excitement about kindness is bound to inspire children to take initiative and find ways to collaborate with others. Its heightened and, at times, absurd comedy is unusual for a preschool show and sometimes serves as an allegory to discuss important themes like acceptance and prejudice. These positive lessons will be especially well suited for the cognitive development of older preschoolers who can discuss the show with their caretaker.
