In an attempt to "make kindness cool," Jeremy Renner highlights his talents as a visionary and decent team leader. Whether Rennervations makes for excellent viewing depends on how interested families are in watching vehicles get rehabbed into fascinating spaces for communities to gather and gain access to resources they might not otherwise have. The projects will definitely get finished, so there's not the pressure of production that drives other building reality shows. The payoff is in the joy that the refurbished vehicles bring to their destinations.

Families can watch enjoy show together, though the most engaged viewers will be fans of Renner's... or gear-heads. Nevertheless, the altruistic message reverberates throughout, modeling what good people can do with their time and talents. The elevated role modeling does not go to waste in this show.
