The interesting unscripted series offers viewers the chance to see what it is like in parts of Great Rift Valley that run through Southeast Africa. As Hazen Audel navigates his way through the valley's geographic trenches, which take him through deserts, mangroves, and other challenging terrain, he highlights the many dangers that he's potentially facing. But outside of this, Primal Survivor: Extreme African Safari isn't very extreme. In fact, the attempts to make the series appear more dramatic for entertainment purposes is unnecessary, given that the animals and nomadic tribes featured throughout are intriguing enough keep viewers engaged. If you like wilderness survival shows, or enjoy learning bits about the African wild, this is worth checking out.
