This bold, action-packed anthology spotlights 10 spectacular and authentic African stories. Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire gives voice to African creators, all of whom have unique visions of future worlds. There are amazing details everywhere, from spaceships inspired by traditional coiled rope bowls to cow herding staffs with super laser powers. This blending of the future and past is at the heart of Africanfuturism, and it's beautifully rendered here. Many stories revolve around sons of powerful women, while others tell ancient tales through a futuristic lens. It can be a little overwhelming to watch all the episodes at once as they're pretty dense and each present a complex world, but taken slowly, these stand-alone tales will leave viewers wanting more.
