A bright and beautiful family show.

This is one of the best and brightest reality shows I’ve see. The host has a gentle, calm, kind presence. She is also knowledgeable and supportive of the farmers seeking help. There is no bad language, yelling or drama—so refreshing. I learned a lot about the diversity in farming. My six year-old granddaughter also enjoyed the information about plants. So the information and dialogue are clear and varied enough to capture her lively attention for almost an entire episode!! I am waiting for Season 2. Love Indy and wish her and the farmers the best.

I like it

This show definitely educates us on different types of farming and new ways to farm. I love what the show is trying to do! I think people of all ages can watch the show there’s nothing that makes it inappropriate for children of any age it’s just not the kind of content my two year old enjoys it’s definitely okay for me to watch while she’s playing in the same room.

Is It Any Good?

Kids probably won't mind watching this show along with their grown-ups, but it's unlikely that kids will choose to watch Farm Dreams on their own. It's slow paced, and most kids won't fit into the target demographic (seemingly adults who harbor a secret ambition to quit their desk jobs and begin an agrarian lifestyle). For those kids that do check out Farm Dreams, there's lots to learn about crop and animal care and eco-friendly farming practices.
