The game offers numerous power-ups and exciting racetracks with plenty of surprising obstacles, making this a fun way to compete with family and friends – despite the ads. The touch controls of Disc Drivin' 2 are simple, which makes it easy for players to focus on strategy. There’s a bit of physics involved because the angle at which a player flicks the disc and the force used to flick will partly determine how the disc moves along the racetrack. It’s really fun to see the disc bounce off walls and take curves with ease. Timing also plays a role in strategy because some obstacles are movable. For example, one obstacle has spikes that retract and allow a disc to pass through at just the right moment.

One downside of the game is the fact that even if a player has the Deluxe ad-free version, video ads must be watched by all players if anyone takes a mulligan. Also, being able to purchase power-ups rather than having to earn them through gameplay can give some players an unfair advantage. These are things that most kids are probably used to dealing with when playing a multiplayer game, so they shouldn’t put a damper on the fun.
