Best Netflix show I’ve watched in a while!

I loved this show and am currently watching it for the 3rd time! All the characters are so well made and the show touches upon numerous things that occur to people of the LGBTQ+ community.

AMAZING SHOW!! :))

Heartstopper is such an amazing show!!!!!! It has good characters, and it is SO INSPIRING, especially to kids out there that are hiding there sexuality from their parents or peers. There's a few scenes where characters come out, and it makes other people that watch it feel more comfortable with who they are or maybe even comfortable enough to come out to their parents. :) This show is definitely okay for kids 11+, there's no sexual content, just a few kissing scenes. But kids 11+ would 100% enjoy this show!! :D

Beautiful piece of LGBTQ media

This was a wonderfully directed, acted, and in general show. A trans woman of color, lots of characters who aren’t just white and straight, and diversity bring this movie together. Recommended watch for sure.

I LOVE IT SO MUCH! POSITIVE REPRESENTATION! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

OMG OMG OMG!!!! I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! It is the exact embodiment of feel good. It has a beautiful romance mixed with a meaningful plot and a TON of diverse characters and actors! This is such a great show that it’ll make you cry and make your heart smile at the same time. I enjoyed this so much I watched it in two days, although I don’t recommend binge watching it because when you are done you will be dying for more. I watched it a few days ago and I already want to re watch it. Things to watch out for: Language: bullies use words such as the fa word (you might want to speak to your kids on why you should never use it and about homophobia) Sexy stuff: heavy kissing that could make some people uncomfortable

I LOVE THIS TV SHOW!!!

I. AM. IN. LOVE. WITH. THIS. SHOW. It is such a sweet romance tv show. And there little to no swearing. The most sexual thing in this show is kissing and there is no drinking. It is a innocent tv show overall. As long as you are ok with LGBTQ+ then it is amazing!!!!!!

Heartwarming, wholesome show has positive LGBTQ+ representations

Overall: Heartstopper is a super cute, heartwarming show with positive messages, role models, and diverse representations. It’s very clean as well, with hardly any iffy stuff. The story is centered around a gay couple with multiple LGBTQ+ side characters—all teenagers—so if parents want to introduce their kids to the idea of LGBTQ+ and/or have some conversations about it, Heartstopper is a clean, wholesome way to go. I recommend it to all and any tweens, teens, and adults—it’s entertaining, feel-good, adorable, and a comfort show. ___________________________________________________ Violence: A boy’s ex-boyfriend aggressively shoves him against a wall and kisses him, while the boy asks him stop. (It doesn’t last long before someone intervenes). Characters play rugby and get tackled/tackle opponents in games, one boy gets a bloody nose from a tackle. One school fight between two teen boys. One punch and some shoving as a boy defends his boyfriend. ___________________________________________________ Sex: Flirting and kissing, both opposite- and same-sex (but mostly same-sex). ___________________________________________________ Language: occasional use of mild words such as “piss”, “ass”, “damn.” Some insults. Characters are made fun of for being gay/LGBTQ+. ___________________________________________________ Drinking/Drugs/Smoking: A teen throws a birthday party, some teens hold plastic cups but we don’t see what they’re drinking and no one acts drunk. ___________________________________________________ Positive Messages/Role Models/Representations: Themes of love, friendship, courage, being yourself, standing up for yourself and others, etc. Don’t let what other people think and say stop you from being who you are. Many positive role models—teens, teachers, parents, friends, male and female, straight and LGBTQ+. The only negative role models are bullies and are clearly portrayed as so. Lots of diversity—although the main characters are white boys, there are several supporting characters of different skin colors and ethnicities. Several LGBTQ+ characters, including the protagonists. ___________________________________________________

I enjoyed watching this! It had a lot of representation of the LGBTQ+ community mainly surrounding the romantic relationship between 2 16ish year old boys discovering themselves and each other. There is no nudity or really explicit scenes other than a couple kiss scenes that don't get too crazy. I thought it was a really cute story 👍 the only issue I can think of is taos hair.

Wholesome and amazing

This show is so sweet, and one of the best on Netflix. Full review: Kinda SPOILERS Violence: 2/5 non-consensual kissing and shoving up against a wall. Characters break out in a fight. A little blood shown. Flashbacks to Charlie being bullied. sex/romance/nudity: 2/5 Charlie(main character)has a giant crush on Nick(main character). And vice versa. They date. Many characters date. Both same and opposite-gender dating. Characters kiss. Language: uses of piss off. A** is in a text and said. F** is used. Drinking drugs and smoking: no one acts drunk. And from what I recall no underage drinking. Positive role models: 5/5 Charlie and Nick are amazing. Tara and Darcy are amazing. Shows the struggles of being openly gay and still in the closet. Also questioning. Harry and his friends are jerks. Ben is also a jerk. Diverse representation: both Charlie and Nick are white. Other major characters are people of color. Charlie is openly gay. Nick is bisexual(questioning for most of the show). Elle is trans. Tara and Darcy are both lesbians. Overall: just amazing and definitely recommended if you want some sweet gay romance. Realistic characters. And relatable for all ages, races, genders, and orientations. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️
